Hello Everyone!
How are we halfway through summer already?! What a month it’s been – we’ve met so many new faces, the website got an update (farm store products are now available for online shopping), we have grown from 70 hives to 100 with 5 on site; the apples are starting to blush, tomatoes are getting to be the size of my fist, and long beans are coming in strong. We planted ginger, okra, potatoes, winter squash, and watermelon this month, and harvested the first honey frames of the season. Up next? More hives and pumpkins!
Have you flipped your garden beds yet? We would recommend Okra, Watermelon, Pumpkin, Eggplant, and Winter Squash for a late summer/early fall crop. If you’re looking for flowers and ornamentals- Sunflower, Gomphrena, Zinnia, and Cosmos can tolerate our summers and should bloom for you before fall comes along.

New 4oz glass jars and wildflower honey sticks have been added to the honey wall. We also now have front feeders for sale- don’t forget to feed your hives through dearth.
